In the high-stakes environment of complex chemical processing, the ability to distinguish and quantify components like ethanol and methanol in real-time is often the deciding factor between a strictly controlled reaction and an off-spec batch. Traditionally, operators have relied on manual extraction for laboratory analysis. However, this method introduces significant delays and safety risks that […]
Moving Beyond the Bench: In-Line FTIR Monitoring with ATR Probes For decades, Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) has been a standard technique for FTIR spectroscopy. However, most users are restricted to standard ATR inserts or benchtop accessories. While effective for static lab samples, these setups introduce a critical bottleneck: the sample must be extracted from the […]
We are excited to announce that art photonics GmbH is taking the virtual stage on February 23, 2026, at the EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium) Online Technology Meeting on Specialty Optical Fibers for Lasers. Specialty optical fibers are the backbone of modern, high-performance laser systems. Whether driving industrial manufacturing, advanced sensing, or medical technology, the […]
art photonics GmbH is pleased to announce our participation as an exhibitor at PAT Connect 2026, taking place this March at the TTC Technology Training Center. As industries increasingly shift toward real-time monitoring and automation, Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is more critical than ever. Taking the Spectrometer to the Sample Whether you are scaling up […]
art photonics GmbH, founded in Berlin in September 1998, is one of the worldwide leaders in development and production of specialty fiber products for a broad spectrum from 300 nm to 16 µm. Unique technologies of Polycrystalline Mid InfraRed (PIR-) fibers and Metal coated Silica fibers are used for assembly of various spectroscopy probes for medical diagnostics and industrial process control, in volume production of fiber for medical and industrial lasers, for different fiber bundles, etc. Since January 2024 art photonics GmbH is a member of NYNOMIC GROUP.
Meet Us at the 20. Herbstkolloquium Prozessanalytik
Posted on:
5 December 2025
The art photonics team is currently fully engaged at the 20. Herbstkolloquium Prozessanalytik, and with two days already behind us, we are thrilled with the productive atmosphere and the depth of the technical exchanges.
The event kicked off with strong momentum, setting the stage for deep discussions on the future of process control. We were particularly inspired by the keynote address from Maik Müller, CEO of our parent company, Nynomic AG. The program has offered fantastic insights into the actual needs of the industry, including interesting use cases presented by Hellma and valuable perspectives from Glatt.
Technology in Action at Booth #11
Beyond the presentations, our booth has been a hub of activity. We are showcasing our comprehensive portfolio of fiber optic probes designed for harsh environments and precise process control, covering the full spectral range from 200nm to 16µm.
Visitors have had the chance to see our FlexiSpec® product family first-hand. We are currently displaying a wide variety of solutions, including:
ATR Probes in multiple configurations
Raman Probes for specific identification tasks
Hygienic Solutions, such as our 3-A Hygienic Transflection Probe
Live Demonstrations: We are running real-time measurements with our Reflection and Transmission probes, demonstrating how our technology handles diverse samples right on the spot.
Scientific Contribution
Our commitment to R&D was also highlighted during the poster session. Our R&D Manager, Alexander Novikov, presented his work on “Fiber Optic Probes for Multi-Modal Spectroscopy in Harsh Environments and Challenging Analytical Tasks,” sparking excellent discussions on how to solve complex analytical problems.
Join Us for the Final Day
We have one day left! If you are attending the 20. Herbstkolloquium Prozessanalytik and haven't stopped by yet, we invite you to visit Booth #11 on the third day.
Our CEO Dr. Stefanie Foerster, Alexander Novikov, and our Sales Manager Peter Tänzer are looking forward to meeting you to discuss how our probes can support your process control requirements.
