Raman vs. Mid-IR ATR Spectroscopy for In-Line Reaction Monitoring: Technical Note

Mid-infrared (mid-IR) and Raman techniques are complementary vibrational spectroscopy methods utilized extensively in Process Analytical Technology (PAT). While both probe molecular vibrations, they rely on fundamentally different optical effects: mid-IR ATR detects the absorption of mid-IR radiation, whereas Raman relies on the inelastic scattering of visible or near-infrared (NIR) laser light. For system integration in […]

Precision by Design: What Quality Control Really Looks Like at art photonics

Every fiber, cable, and probe that leaves our Berlin facility gets put under a microscope. Literally. Before a product ships, we inspect the fiber end faces for cracks and contamination, check core/clad geometry, and verify transmission against spec. On mid-IR assemblies, that means confirming losses stay within 0.2–0.3 dB/m in the 9–13 µm range — […]

CPACT Webinar: Bridging the Gap from the Lab to Real-Time Process Control

Transitioning from offline sampling to real-time, in-line monitoring remains one of the most significant bottlenecks in Process Analytical Technology (PAT) today. When process engineers are forced to wait on delayed lab results, it impacts both efficiency and process optimization. To help address this challenge, art photonics is proud to announce an upcoming webinar hosted by […]

art photonics to Exhibit at Photonics West 2024 in San Francisco | 27 Jan - 1 Feb, 2024

Posted on:
21 January 2024

We are delighted to announce that art photonics will be participating in the upcoming Photonics West 2024, the world's foremost event in photonics technologies. The event is scheduled to take place in San Francisco, USA, from January 27 to February 1, 2024.

Photonics West annually attracts thousands of attendees eager to discover the latest in research and products in the field of photonics. This year, art photonics is excited to showcase its latest developments and engage with industry leaders about the advancements in wide-spectrum fiber optics technology. Our products are tailored for a range of applications, including industrial, process control, and research, covering a spectrum range from 0.3 to 16 μm.

We are proud to present an exclusive opportunity to meet and interact with our CEO & President, Viacheslav Artyushenko, and our R&D Manager, Alexander Novikov. This will be a chance to discuss how our advanced fiber optics and fiber probes can contribute to enhancing and streamlining industrial processes.

Additionally, we will be showcasing our newest products at the event – the Transmission Probe and the recently updated Raman Probe. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the superior capabilities of our Transmission Probes compared to standard dip Transflection probes.

We invite you to visit us at booth #5634 to experience our latest innovations and discuss how art photonics can assist in advancing your industrial processes.

We look forward to seeing you at Photonics West 2024 in San Francisco!
