Application note: Precise In-Line Analysis of Alcohol Mixtures with Fiber Optic Probes

What is the real cost of an off-spec batch? In many chemical processes, the precise ratio of components like methanol and ethanol can be the difference between profit and loss. Relying on slow, manual lab sampling means you are often reacting to problems long after they occur, rather than preventing them. This is where direct, […]

Free Webinar: A Practical Guide to Selecting the Right Fiber Optic Probe

In the world of spectroscopy, the fiber optic probe is the critical link between the analyzer and the sample. The success of an entire analysis—impacting data quality, accuracy, and reproducibility—often hinges on selecting the appropriate probe for the specific application. With a vast array of sample types, environments, and analytical goals, making the right choice […]

Description

art photonics offers High Power Fiber Cables for flexible delivery of  CO₂-laser radiation. Polycrystalline Mid-InfraRed (PIR-) fiber cables provide stable power transmittance under the bending  that is an important advantage as compared to hollow waveguides. Special SMART (Special Micro Anti-Reflection Treatment) treatment of PIR-fiber ends suppresses Fresnel reflection to increase output power by 10-12%.
