art photonics is proud to introduce our FlexiRay® PIR-Fiber Cables for delivering high-power CO and CO₂ laser delivery with enhanced flexibility, reliability, and efficiency.

Our cables offer ultra-flexible delivery, allowing you to bend down to a 50–100 mm radius without compromising beam quality. They ensure **stable power transmission** by maintaining over 75% throughput even under tight bends, which is a significant improvement over traditional hollow waveguides.

Additionally, the cables include a SMART anti-reflection end treatment. This special micro-AR coating on the fiber ends effectively reduces Fresnel losses and boosts your output power by up to 12%. With a high power capability that supports continuous-wave laser power from 20 W (400 µm core) up to 40 W (900 µm core), our PIR-Fiber Cables are designed to meet the demanding requirements of various applications.

Whether you are involved in industrial processing, medical diagnostics, or scientific research, these cables allow you to route mid-infrared laser radiation exactly where needed - eliminating the need for bulky fixtures and constant realignment.

We at art photonics are excited to introduce our Reflection Fiber Probes featuring an integrated gas purging mechanism. For reliable spectroscopic process control in powder applications, keeping a clean optical interface is essential. Traditional probes can suffer from window fouling, which compromises data integrity.

Our solution allows for periodic or continuous clearing of the measurement window using pressurized gas, ensuring uninterrupted, accurate spectral data for real-time monitoring. This breakthrough addresses a common challenge in maintaining consistent performance in demanding environments.

Beyond this innovative offering, art photonics continues to support customized fiber optic probe development. Whether your project requires specific materials, precise dimensions, or unique functionalities, we work closely with R&D and engineering teams to build solutions that meet your individual process challenges.

If you are in need a custom probe solution, we invite you to explore the possibilities with us. Please contact us to learn more about how our technology can help optimize your process.

Reliable identification and classification of raw polymer materials are essential for quality control and efficient processing.

Did you know that near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy combined with advanced fiber-optic probes offers a powerful solution? This technique allows for rapid, non-destructive analysis outside the lab, making it possible to perform measurements right in the field or directly online.

art photonics' Diffuse Reflectance Fiber Optic Probes are designed for remote spectroscopy, collecting data needed for these demanding applications. The data is then processed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), which enables the classification of various polymer raw materials, even when their spectra overlap.

Our latest application note demonstrates the successful classification of key polymers such as:

• Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
• Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
• Polypropylene (PP)
• Polycarbonate (PC)
• Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE)

This capability makes near-infrared spectroscopy with fiber probes an optimal tool for developing robust Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and automated process control systems in the plastics industry.

To learn more about the methodology and results, please explore our new Application Note.
